Location is a factor, whether we are writing personal sections for you, if you are flexible as to your ceremony's start time, if you need a rehearsal on a day other than the wedding, etc. Our fees are based on the real time spent to get you married. If twenty minutes is all you want from us, meaning we can marry another couple a half hour before and after you, then "Just Marry Us" is the ticket for you.

Writing and public speaking are our strong points. This is where we do our best work and you get the most value for your dollar. Anyone can give you lists of things to pick from and call it "custom" but if it's not your own thoughts and feelings then it is assembled for you, not written for you. This package includes a meeting where Isaac and/or Phaedra paraphrase your thoughts and feelings and create a first draft of your ceremony. Then we tailor it until it fits as perfectly as the dress does!

Do you see something on our website that is perfect for you? Do you want to pick a few elements or give us a few guidelines and let us handle the rest? Writing a ceremony and assembling a ceremony are two very different things, So let's give you a discount for the time that we're saving by not meeting and writing from scratch!

This works well for couples who want to be the only wedding scheduled on their day. Some like to rehearse not an hour before but 3 hours before (or the night before) and then do pictures. Some weddings, held more than an hour or two away from Nyack, can require the time that two or three local weddings could be performed in. No extra fees are added for traveling.
Want a Pirate Wedding in Arrrrrruba or a Sci-Fi one at Cape Canaveral? We'll go anywhere! The fee will be based on real time spent to make your day amazing and perfect! Naturally you would have to cover the transportation and any food and lodging costs involved.
Just Marry Us!

Perfect for those who don't want to marry at town hall. If you want one of us to meet you at a local (to Nyack NY) restaurant or hotel and have us use the "Short and Simple" wedding script, we can be in and out in twenty minutes. We have an arrangement with Reality Bites Cafe in Nyack, who can also produce a wedding brunch or buffet for up to 50 people with a day's warning. In warm weather, a local park or our wooded back yard is also possible.
Monday to Thursday: day and evening hours (no evening hours in the parks). Weekends: check for limited availability.
(Why? Because sometimes couples accidently give us the gathering time and not the ceremony time. So to avoid bad brides -- or grooms! -- inadvertently making us schedule closer than we are comfortable with, and possibly ruining someone else's wedding, it has become necessary to ensure that we are given the correct information.)
